Mobile Application Developer at IndSAfri

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, with a focus on both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices and extensive experience with React Native.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for new and existing features.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to improve application functionality and user experience.
• Implement security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure application reliability.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our mobile applications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Mobile Development: Proven experience in developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• DevOps: Strong experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• React Native: Extensive experience with React Native is a must.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
