Monitoring & Evaluation Officer(Institutional Performance) at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose: 

• Co-ordinates and control the requirements associated with maintaining compliance with the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation cycle by scheduling appointments with organisations/directorates or divisional leadership and management structures.

Key Responsibility Areas: 

• Applies framework guidelines to assess compliance requirements relating to the monitoring and evaluation phases of the performance management cycle. 
• Controls applications associated with the scheduling and prepares information for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation. 
• Conducts interim analysis and prepares statistical summaries relating to organisational directorate or individual Performance Monitoring and Evaluation. 
• Provides information or guidelines on the Performance Management Monitoring and Evaluation information management procedures.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements: 

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Management or in the Social Sciences or Finance field or any other related and equivalent qualification. 
• Valid motor vehicle driving license. 
• 2 years relevant experience in the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation field. 
• Computer Literacy. 

Preferred Requirements: 

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Management or in the Social Sciences or Finance field or any other related and equivalent qualification. 
• 3 years relevant experience in the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation field.
