Minimum Requirements    

• N Dip: Production & Inventory Management (Essential/Minimum)
• Relevant Trade: Artisan with MQA/QCTO Accreditation (Essential/Minimum)
• Recommended B Tech or B Degree in a relevant field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, or related operations
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Strong understanding of inventory control, MRP parameters, and stock optimisation
• Experience with compliance, governance, and safety standards in the workplace
• Ability to develop and maintain strong customer and client relationships
• Proven track record in effective people management and performance management

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Optimise inventory levels and manage stock availability to meet procurement demands while identifying items for disposal.
• Develop and implement Material Requirements Planning (MRP) auditing strategies ensuring compliance with company governance and safety standards.
• Foster strong customer relations and communicate effectively with stakeholders to anticipate demand changes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, standards, and statutory compliance across all inventory activities.
• Promote a collaborative, health, and safety-oriented work environment by upholding safety protocols and addressing unsafe practices.
• Support the standardization and simplification of functional processes to enhance efficiency and eliminate bureaucracy.
• Conduct quality assurance on inventory items, maintaining adherence to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and codification standards.
• Manage and maintain all MRP master data and execute inventory strategies to align with organizational goals.
• Provide relevant guidance and support to peers and stakeholders, ensuring a disciplined culture within inventory management practices.
• Drive the culture of continuous learning, innovation, and inclusivity to respond swiftly to business needs and promote effective teamwork.
