    National Sales Manager- Energy and Power Systems Business

    An opportunity exists within our Power Systems Division for a National Sales Manager/Director to develop and increase the Energy/Power Systems market share in targeted segments (Utilities, MMM, Infrastructure sector). Experience working in the public sector/utility/infrastructure is key for this role

    Job Function:

    • Define and implement the strategy for Infrastructure, Utility and Power sectors
    • Drive Transactional business, Projects, Solution & Service sales across Businesses
    • Manage the transactional execution team
    • Sales forecasting and managing stock planning/forecasts with supply chain
    • Allocate key local resources for his region: 
    • Segment Marketing
    • Key & National Account Managers
    • Local Solution Architects and Product Application Engineers
    • Define the required Execution footprint
    • Drive the utility Solution Offer roadmap in connection with Global Segments Organisation.
    • Manage and Lead large Utility strategic projects
    • Customer Relationship Management
    • C-level Customer interaction
    • Business Development
    • Support the sales teams

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • To develop and increase the Energy/Power Systems market share in targeted segments (Utilities, MMM, Infrastructure sector)
    • To liaise and manage the local commercial department and partners to ensure the formulation of correct joint strategies.
    • To promote the product and services business in an efficient way.
    • To manage and develop the sales teams in the regions.
    • To manage and develop the sales pipeline and meet targets.
    • To enable profitable sales growth within transactional and projects businesses
    • To ensure understanding and compliance of clients site regulations.
    • To adopt a team approach, work with others in pursuing common goals.
    • To present a clear and concise strategy to our customers.
    • To gather information on competitors, generating leads and sales
    • To monitor the performance and report monthly on successes and failures and propose corrective action where necessary.
    • To identify opportunities and manage opportunities.
    • To communicate with each team member and ensure customer actions and projects are properly coordinated.

    Minimum Qualification & Experience

    • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification at NQF 6.
    • At least 5 years of relevant sales experience working in the public sector/utility/infrastructure
    • Prior experience in the Energy/Power Systems market share in targeted segments (Utilities, MMM, Infrastructure sector)
    • Knowledge of the South Africa market
