National Technical Manager.Properties.OMSA at Old Mutual

•  Plans, coordinates & controls all technical & facilities management activities on behalf of CPM & its clients.
• Provides professional / technical input on all new developments.
• Elects & appoints technical service providers.
• Oversees the design and compliance standards of preventative planned. maintenance, as well as any new projects to ensure seamless integration into operational activities on site.
• Researches new equipment, materials & work methods.
• Liaises with Electrical and other Municipal Supply Authorities. Negotiates national contracts.
• Ensures compliance to relevant regulations (e.g. OHSA). SANS 10400, etc..

• Provides professional / technical input on all new developments, with a focus on strategic initiatives to mitigate operational risks that OML could face due to economic or environmental conditions.

Vendor & Contract Management

• Elects & appoints technical service providers.
• Negotiates national contracts.

Job Requirements

• Matric.
• Engineering degree / diploma.
• 8-10 year’s experience
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) (Electrical or Mechanical) - Factories
• Additional commerce qualification advantageous.
