Network Supervisor at Tower Group

Job Overview:

• The CTN Supervisor will oversee daily operations and maintenance of the cellular transmission network, ensuring optimal performance, minimal downtime, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role includes leadership, technical guidance, and coordination of network operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Leadership: Manage and support the CTN team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Network Operations & Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in transmission systems (microwave, fiber, etc.).
• Maintenance & Repair: Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring preventive measures are in place.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate network upgrades and new installations to enhance system capacity.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and assist in training on CTN systems.
• Troubleshooting: Lead the team in diagnosing and resolving network transmission issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Certifications: Certified Telecommunications Network Professional (CTNP), First Aid, Health & Safety, and Telecommunications Systems certifications.
• Experience: 5+ years in telecommunications, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of microwave/fiber optics, network monitoring tools, and leadership skills.
