    New Vehicle Sales Manager - VW East Rand

    About the Role

    • As the New Vehicle Sales Manager at VW East Rand, you will play a crucial role in driving sales initiatives and leading a dynamic team focused on new vehicle sales within the dealership.
    • Your primary focus will be on achieving sales targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering an environment that prioritizes excellence in service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the new vehicle sales team, setting clear sales targets and performance expectations.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share for new vehicles.
    • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to inform decision-making and improve sales processes.
    • Ensure high standards of customer service by coaching and training team members on best practices in sales and client engagement.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a personalized sales experience.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional activities that enhance vehicle visibility and attract potential buyers.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to make strategic recommendations.
    • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting opportunities for improvement.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record in automotive sales management or related fields, with demonstrable experience in leading sales teams.
    • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management in the automotive industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team and build rapport with customers.
    • Proficient in using sales management software and tools for tracking performance and generating reports.
    • Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills for evaluating sales data and market trends.
    • Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel as required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in business management, marketing, or a related field.
    • Experience with Volkswagen products and brand values.
    • Certification in sales training methodologies or customer service excellence.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools relevant to automotive sales.
