    OD and Effectiveness Specialist Human Resources Department

    Purpose of the Job:

    • To be responsible for optimisation of organisation structure. Acts as a Change Ambassador providing the support and mechanism to implement major changes to the operations of the business. Facilitates team building workshops, exercises, or programs to enhance the cohesiveness of the teams. Conducts job analysis and job profiling. Implement and monitor organisational development plans.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Contribute to the FSCA Organisational Development strategy in order to improve overall organisational performance and effectiveness.
    • Develop and maintain Organisational Development plans.
    • Provide a professional internal Organisational Development consultancy service to promote teamwork, improve performance and engagement and enable successful delivery of FSCA strategic objectives.
    • Demonstrate engaging, pragmatic and business focused leadership and expertise on Organisational Development interventions across FSCA and with key stakeholders.
    • Design, deliver and evaluate OD interventions, including facilitation of workshops, team development etc.
    • Develop and implement FSCA competency framework and integrate the competencies into FSCA processes and systems.
    • Contribute research, analysis and ideas to the FSCA initiatives, in order to ensure that OD initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.
    • Provide status on OD to all key stakeholders.

    Other Key Competencies:

    • The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Knowledge of current HR legislation; project management skills; ability to solve problems; excellent customer service skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain high level of confidentiality; strong interpersonal/human relations skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; Demonstrated ability to engage with employees at various levels within the organisation. Experience in developing OD, plans, policies and procedures, designing team development activities and facilitating learning with multi-professional teams, and advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills; analytical skills and diligence.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or Organisational Development with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Human Resources field, of which 5 years must have been in the organisational development and effectiveness field. Registration as an Industrial Psychologist will be an added advantage.
