Key Responsibilities

• Provide support by implementing and executing the implementation of an international organization of standardization (ISO) 14001 environmental management system and related procedures in the designated areas of the business.
• Ensure compliance to legislative and governance requirements in the designated areas of the business through the implementation of compliance measures.
• Execute the process for obtaining environmental approvals for environmental authorization, waste, water usage, atmospheric emission licenses and tree cutting permits.
• Implement and monitor environmental management plans.
• Perform environmental investigations.

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

• Diploma/National Diploma in Natural Science/Environmental Management at NQF 6 with 240 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

• Three (3) related experience in the area of environmental management
