Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Drive daily production activities across the meat, poultry, or fish processing lines to ensure 100% fulfillment of orders.
• Workforce Leadership: Directly manage and motivate a large workforce of approximately 200 staff, ensuring optimal shift scheduling and performance management.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous food safety standards (FSSC 22000/HACCP) to meet the exacting requirements of premium retail partners.
• Supply Chain Excellence: Manage the end-to-end production flow specifically tailored for high-tier retail distribution.
• Cost Control: Monitor yields, reduce waste, and manage production budgets to ensure maximum profitability without compromising on product integrity.

Requirements

• Industry Expertise: Extensive experience specifically within the Meat, Poultry, or Fish industries is non-negotiable.
• Proven Track Record: You must have successfully supplied Woolworths, demonstrating an intimate understanding of their strict quality and delivery protocols.
• Leadership Scale: Previous experience managing a large workforce of 200+ employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Age Preference: Ideally, candidates should be 46 years of age or younger to align with the long-term succession planning of the leadership team.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cold chain management, carcass/raw material yields, and high-speed packaging.
