Intercare Corporate Services in Menlyn, Pretoria, seeks to recruit an Operations Manager: Hospitals to implement, manage and monitor operational strategies and to execute our strategy of creating a holistic integrated rehabilitation program for our rehabilitation hospitals.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Demonstrate visible leadership in respect of the Company’s purpose, values and strategy.
• Manage, develop and coach team members in the rehabilitation hospitals to form part of an integrated rehabilitation team.
• Promote individual and team autonomy.
• Implement, manage and monitor operational strategy and the operating model against standards.
• Identify operational, compliance and clinical risks and trends and implement appropriate corrective action.
• Develop and manage the partnership between the company and relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively communicate all changes and initiatives to key stakeholders.
• Drive and manage agreed upon projects and initiatives in conjunction with relevant department heads, Business Unit Managers and/or Executives.
• Ensure all aspects of the company’s brand standards are maintained.
• Manage and optimise staffing together with the hospital and unit managers of the rehabilitation hospitals to ensure optimal costing and efficiency.
• Monitor monthly progress and performance against business and financial targets in conjunction with Business Unit Managers.
• Provide support to the Group Operations Executive: Hospitals.
• Ensure implementation of standardisation initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in General Nursing / BCur Degree.
• Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a management role.
• Previous experience within a Rehabilitation environment will be advantageous.
• Operational experience in a medical environment will be advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and process driven.
• Excellent clinical nursing skills, ability to lead subordinates to achieve objectives, performance orientation and teamwork.
• Must be able to travel frequently.
