Operations Manager - Umbogintwini at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Site management and maintenance of all infrastructure/buildings
• Support Health, Safety and Environmental function within the portfolio
• Vetting of quotations for all maintenance, including building and infrastructure
• Compile property maintenance and capital expenditure program
• Compiling of work schedule for purpose of standard building maintenance costing
• Actively manage project deliverables. (Work plan, scope of works etc.)
• Contractor and consultant management
• Working within allocated repairs and maintenance budget
• Ensure compliance with Procurement Policies and Procedures
• Consulting and research of the relevant engineering workbooks
• Management of Tenant repairs and maintenance queries together with ad-hoc building inspections for the portfolio to ensure compliance
• Facilitation and management of Tenant entry and exit inspections
• Actively look to improve technology within the portfolio by adapting varied techniques and methodologies
• Be part of the EMPRO team and be available for standby for EMPRO & Security

Qualifications & Experience    

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Degree or Diploma in related sector (Construction and/or Civils)
• 4-5 years’ appropriate experience
• Knowledge of relevant building industry related legislation, standards and norms
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MDA beneficial
• Ability to negotiate
