Operations Quality Analyst at Tiger Brands

• Implement and maintain Measuring and Testing requirements in Albany factories and drive everyday execution and continuous improvement

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Ensure adherence to specifications (Process, finished goods and packaging)
• Custodian of manufacturing/ process and finished product specifications
• Drive sensory analysis
• Ensure compliance to process / packaging and product specifications
• Management of retention samples and end of shelf life

​​​​​​​Handling of Market Place Feedback (Consumer, customer and incidents)

• Maintaining of market place feedback register
• Lead investigation and develop lessons learnt
• Ensure implementation of corrective and preventative action
• Liaise with consumer services

​​​​​​​Handling of non-conformances

• Manage non-conformance process. (Register, product status decision making)
• Facilitate problem solving and root cause analysis
• Ensure implementation of corrective and preventative action
• Ensure adherence to specifications (Process, finished goods and packaging)
• Handling of Market Place Feedback (Consumer, customer and incidents)

• Drive quality gate keeping in innovation

• Develop and conduct training

​​​​​​​WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Diploma in natural sciences (food technology, biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering or microbiology)
• TQM / B. Tech. would be advantageous
• Sound working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Outlook; PowerPoint, Excel)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in either measurement and testing or QMS
• Category knowledge
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools
