ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As an Operator Making Safe, you will be responsible for making the working area safe after blasting operations.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Make area safe prior to loading and hauling (watering down);
• Make safe a workplaces by means of barring;
• Examine and make safe main access roads;
• Pump water using a Submersible De-watering Pump;

 ABOUT YOU:

• You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Must have a relevant experience in a mining operation.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Serious contenders will Grade 12/Grade 10 ( internal candidates) with relevant experience in a mining operation;
• Competency B Certificate is advantageous;
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s license is essential.
