Operator Mobile Equipment Relief - Mamatwan Mine at South32

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Participate in investigations into workplace incidents;
• Report any unsafe behaviour, conditions and incidents to the responsible person;
• Conduct pre-use inspections, routine inspections and report defects;
• Conduct risk assessment before all tasks and identify risks and hazards;
• Operate mobile equipment based on operational requirements;
• Keep mobile equipment clean and in a good condition all the time;
• Will be be required to operate the different machines based on operational requirements.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year minimum experience in operating mobile equipment in a mining or plant environment;

Qualifications for this role are:

• Grade 10 internally and Grade 12 externally;
• At least 3 of the following equipment licenses: Excavator, CAT Hauler 770, 777, CAT loader  992, 980 or CAT dozer D8, D10.
• Valid drivers license.
