DUTIES :
Responsible for the digipath. Generate all printing jobs including sensitive and non-sensitive jobs. Composition and layout of print jobs. Sound digipath management including archiving and retrieving of print jobs. Back up of digipath. Responsible for print job format. Give advice to clients on printing format, layout and finishing requirements. Responsible for printing. Receiving and checking exam papers digitally. Ensuring that question papers and addendums run in sequence. Destroy all damaged and spoilt question papers. Responsible for exception reports. Report back on the error reports made from the plastic wrapping machine and give feedback to supervisor.
Provide feedback to supervisor on status of completed work, work in progress, queue and developed status. Printing of documents. Finishing of printed documents. Check that the quality of the printing work is according to specifications. Check that the plastic wrapping of question papers and other sensitive material is according to specifications. Storage of printing material on printing server. Dispatch printed documentation including hand-over of non-sensitive documents. Security at access points in the printing room. Assist with the entrance and exits by the public. Open shutter door for delivery of stationery and equipment.
