    Outbound Sales Agents

    Job Description

    To provide telecommunication solutions to new and existing customers by marketing and matching the ideal products and services to customers’ needs, thereby, generating revenue and improving customer satisfaction. This role requires enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated telesales representatives. A professional telesales representative must be an excellent communicator, have superior people skills and abide by good governance and ethical standards. They must be comfortable presenting products and/or services over the phone as well as dealing with objections and uncertainties

    Essential

    • 6 months experience as an outbound call centre agent
    • High proficiency in verbal & written English and other local languages
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
    • Sound planning, organising and time management skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Exceptional administrative skills, with sound follow-through after contact with customers

    The ability to:

    • prioritise and manage work flow
    • analyse, validate and interpret data/reports
    • resolve conflict situations amicably
    • find effective solutions for customers (i.e. businesses) in debt
    • solve problems
    • multi-task and cope with high volumes of work
    • be a team player and to work in an open-plan environment
    • work under pressure to meet performance KPIs and client service level agreements
    • Results Driven, persistent, motivated and professional
    • Proven experience as a telesales representative
    • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets over the phone
    • Email and telephonic etiquette
    • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Telephony applications, together with the ability to navigate between multiple screens

    Qualifications

    • A Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
