About Job
An opportunity exists for an Outbound Sales Consultant to join our team based in Pretoria.
The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service by calling potential and existing customers and to promote or upsell Mukuru products and support customer loyalty to the Mukuru brand.
The Outbound Sales Consultant reports directly to the Outbound Sales Team Leader. This position is based at our offices in Pretoria, however may be required to work remotely from time to time.
The Outbound Sales Consultant is responsible for welcoming new customers to the Mukuru family by providing support and knowledge regarding our products and brand.
The Outbound Sales Consultant is also responsible for retaining existing customers, by gaining insights and providing support tailored to the customers' needs
Duties and Responsibilities (include but is not limited to):
To respond to all customers timeously and professionally in line with quality assurance standards
Action all requests on behalf of the customer on all relevant systems
Pay attention to big-ticket items
Verify the customer details
Ask all security questions where required
Ensuring that:
Security measures are in place for new contacts/recipients on all orders
Verify/recap details again before completing customer requests
Notations are left after every interaction or action made on the customers' profile
Disposition/outcomes are completed on all channels of communication
Communication etiquette is adhered to in accordance with quality assurance standards
Contact resolution is completed. Strive for no-repeat/unnecessary customer follow-ups
Empower customers by promoting and explaining self-help channels for future requests/services
Communication cadence rules on escalated/follow up queries with customers are followed/adhered to
To promote new and additional products to customers on all corridors/ customers
Maximize sales opportunities through outbound calling
Give information based on the training received
Maintain customer confidentiality
Maintain knowledge of all company products
Provide support to other departments
To manage own professional and self-development
Key Requirements:
Grade 12 / or equivalent (Essential)
Degree/Diploma (Desirable)
Ability to understand/speak English and one of the following languages is ESSENTIAL: Sotho, Bemba, Swahili, Hindi, Mandarin, Urdu, Bengali
Mukuru call center training course (Desirable)
1-year Outbound Sales / Customer Service experience (Essential)
Contact center experience (Essential)
Knowledge of:
