    Clinical Facilitator

    Job Summary:

    • The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for the provision of clinical education and training support within the Nursing Disciple and for the overall skills plan of the hospital. Passing on knowledge and further development of Nursing Students.

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • Nursing degree/ diploma
    • Diploma in Nursing Education essential
    • Current South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration.
    • Knowledge of Scope of Practice across all Nursing disciples essential.
    • 1-2 years in Clinical Facilitation or Teaching/ Education essential.
    • Experience within a private hospital environment(advantageous).
    • Computer literacy.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Develop an annual work plan in relation to the Nursing strategy and workforce plan to meet the changing service needs including training/remedial plan, staff educational and learning needs and address gaps in line with up-to-date literature.
    • Manage and provide guidance to all students performing practical duties.
    • Participate and lead clinical audits and the formulation of action plans to address gaps including quality improvement initiatives and principles to training interventions.

    Unit Manager-Neonatal (NICU)

    Job Summary:

    • To plan, monitor, coordinate and oversee the Unit’s operations and processes to ensure quality patient care and the overall running of the unit including but not limited to managing the ward clerks, RN, EN and ENA’s roles and responsibilities.

    Responsible Pharmacist

    Job Summary:

    • In collaboration with the Group Pharmaceutical Services Manager, implement best operating practice related to medication safety with the objective of reducing medication incidents.
    • Ensure the effective management of the Pharmacy per the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) and the Good Pharmacy Practice in South Africa.
    • Ensure the Pharmacy compliances with the SAPC, Department of Health (DOH) and other statutory and legal requirements.
    • Drive a system of incident reporting, identify negative trends and implement corrective action.
    • Ensure the establishment of and drive antimicrobial stewardship programs in the hospital.
    • Ensure compliance to company policies and processes.
    • Manage and advice the delivery of cost-effective quality patient pharmaceutical care in the hospital environment.

     Deliver on the Hospital Pharmacy Operating Plan

    • Implement and monitor relevant processes according to quality standards, policy and regulations.

    • Collate and address pharmacy related incident reports, complete root cause analysis and where relevant, provide staff with training and collaborate with the clinical staff to implement operational changes promoting safety.

    Case Manager

    Job Summary:

    • To plan, coordinate and execute case management work at hospital level. The incumbent utilises clinical knowledge to minimise financial risk and ensure accurate billing through comprehensive accurate coding of patient care.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma / Degree in Nursing.

    Enrolled Nurse Theatre

    Job Summary:

    • As Enrolled Nurse, to take responsibility for both direct and indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients, and to function under the direct and/ or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, according to the scope of practise of an Enrolled Nurse.

    • Accountable for ensuring that hospital facilities are clean and in good operating conditions. The incumbent is accountable for performing general maintenance and repair of the building, grounds and equipment.
