Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Packaging Graphic Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong packaging design and print production experience, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of FMCG labelling requirements.
Responsibilities
Design packaging artwork for new and existing product lines, from initial concept through to print-ready artwork
Create 3D mock-ups and renders to visualise packaging during the pre-production stage
Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding dielines, bleed, colour profiles, substrates, and print specifications
Ensure packaging designs comply with relevant labelling requirements, including ingredients, nutritional information, allergens, and barcodes
Manage multiple projects and deadlines across product launches, updates, and rebrands
Support the design of point-of-sale, promotional, and marketing collateral as required
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Packaging Design, or a related field
5+ years’ graphic design experience, including at least 3 years’ packaging design experience (FMCG/food industry experience - preferred)
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Strong understanding of print production and labelling compliance
A strong packaging-focused portfolio is essential and will be required for consideration
