Job Description

• Market business unit with profit motive within the VKB Group though marketing of product groups. These products include but is not limited to paper packaging (square and flat bottom bags) wire ties, netlon, stickers and all other industry related products in the Charcoal and Agricultural industry.

Requirements

• Grade 12/NQF4
• Tertiary qualification in marketing will be advantageous
• At least 5-10 years' experience in a similar position with proven track record
• Preferably understand the Packaging and related industries.
• Demonstrated record of success in an agricultural or packaging environment

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Responsible for marketing Crown Bag (VKB) products.
• Coordinating a wide range of integrated communication and marketing activities.
• Responsible for growth of business unit above inflation targets.
• New business development ( Research and Development).
• Attending farmer days.
• Regular visits to farmers.
• Co-ordinating production with the production planner and distribution manager ensuring not to over promise and under deliver.
• Develop Annual Brand Plan.
• Planning and preparing for and attending tradeshows, company sponsored promotions and events.
