Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Pasta making qualification (Theory and Practical) would serve as an advantage
• Excellent People management skills
• The suitable candidate must understand laboratory work and be able to do tests and analysis and reaction to results, recording of pasta / lab data.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality and consistency.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor execution of pasta making process, by managing downtime, control and optimise people, machinery and equipment
• People management: Leave planning, Training/Coaching, performance monitoring & discipline
• Operate and maintain pasta-making machines, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Rootcause analysis, trouble shooting & Maintenance support
• Track inventory of ingredients and pasta products to ensure there is enough stock for daily production.
• Ensure input quality - responsible for raw material, production and mix back;
• Inspect the pasta to ensure it is properly shaped, consistent in size, and of the correct texture.
