PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR – VIP PEOPLE EXPERIENCE A MUST

• Be able to process all salary input accurately e.g.: new engagements, terminations, medical aid changes, overtime etc. - Upload salary payments to Standard Bank for payment via EFT .
• Process 3rd party payments e.g.: medical aid, provident fund etc.
• Handle payroll queries from all levels.
• Be able to explain tax deductions and calculations to all levels of staff.
• Assist with year-end IRP 5’s reconciliations. 
• Handle general queries and administration.
• Prepare and reconcile all salary clearing accounts with valid reasons for outstanding entries
• Assist Payroll Manager with any miscellaneous items.
• Be able to perform leave reconciliations and processing of leave corrections on the leave system.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•  A relevant qualification
•  5 – 8 years’ experience in payroll administration
•  Effective handling of all SARS IRP5 reconciliation’s for payrolls
•  VIP People Payroll experience A MUST
•  Experience in ODBC, BIM, ESS and info slips
•  Skills & Behavioral Attributes
•  Take initiative and be proactive at all times
•  Accurate monthly reconciling experience
•  Work well under pressure
•  Advanced Excel skills
•  Effectively work with all people from all levels
•  Report writing skills
•  Perform accurate salary calculations
•  Be able to work in a team
