    Payroll Administrator - Switches & Annuity

    Job Purpose & Key Outcomes

    • Business Screening
    • Responsible for screening all businesses
    • Responsible for monitoring cases and ensuring that they are screened within turnaround time.

    Business Processing

    • Responsible for processing all instructions 
    • Responsible for monitoring cases and ensuring that they are processed within turnaround time
    • Capturing of the following requests and performing the necessary calculations:
    • Income Review form
    • Bank account detail changes
    • Special deduction Instruction
    • Medical Aid changes
    • Top Up investments: Review and capture new income
    • Change of Payees
    • Automatic Reviews
    • 3rd party payments to client’s other investment(s)
    • Set up regular withdrawals on discretionary products.
    • Compulsory Annuity changes.
    • Perform PAYE Tax calculations and tax aggregation calculations.
    • Ad hoc claim requests – i.e. tax calculations

    Knowledge and Time management

    • Accountable to understand the processes, procedures, legislation and business rules as relating the role
    • Accountable for continuous learning
    • Responsible for guiding and supporting peers with ongoing training in new development and other areas as required by the business

    Documentation

    • Ensure adherence to the applicable procedure in terms of filing
    • Ensure adherence to company policy and procedure in terms of confidentiality and record keeping
    • Accountable for storage of electronic data

    Reporting

    • Responsible for ensuring that CRM is 100% updated with detailed comments
    • Responsible for compiling daily work on hand reports

    Queries 

    • Accountable for owning and responding to the client within the agreed SLA
    • Resolve basic queries from internal clients including management
    • Ensure accurate resolution to client queries within the agreed SLA

    Process and Procedures

    • Familiarise yourself with relevant processes pertaining to specific tasks
    • Familiarise yourself with relevant procedures and checklists

    Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to company policy and procedure
    • Accountable to keep up with changes in legislation
    • Responsible to identify any non-compliance to legislation/regulation and report to management

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Grade 12 with Maths
    • 0-2 years Retirement Funds Administration
