• Sage 300 or Sage Software
• Qualification in HR/Payroll
• ESS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cost effective allocation and use of company resources
• End to end processing of monthly payrolls
• Various data capturing as required
• Compiling the payroll input file
• Verifying of payroll information before processing
• On-going maintenance of payroll system and leave planning
• Processing increases and calculation of backpays – Uploads on Sage
• Conducting month end consolidation
• Calculation and payment of termination payments
• Familiar with E-Filing and applying for tax directives
• Monthly submissions of SDL/PAYE and UIF reports
• Generate payslips via ESS
• Administration of pension and medical aid
• Liaise with service providers
• Handling staff queries regarding payroll and HR by following policies and procedures
• Maintains employee confidence and protects HR/Payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Work closely within the HR team
• Proactively identify any problems that could arise from payroll related issues
• Assist team with adhoc projects as and when required
