Payroll Assistant - City Head Office at Joint Medical Holdings

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA

MEDICAL AID

• Process and administer employee medical aid contributions and deductions accurately.
• Liaise with medical aid providers regarding member updates, claims queries, and billing discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date records of employee medical aid memberships and dependents.
• Assist employees with medical aid-related queries and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and medical aid scheme requirements.

PAYROLL

• Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
• Support audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Reconcile funeral covers ensuring accuracy between payroll deductions and provider statements.
• Manage and process ad hoc payroll duties as required by the Payroll or HR department.
• Assist with time and attendance systems, including Kronos Workforce Central, ensuring accurate capturing of hours, leave, and overtime.
• Support month-end payroll processes and reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Payroll Certificate (advantageous).
• Sage VIP People 300 knowledge and experience
• Good communications skills.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good team-playing skills.
