    Payroll Assurance Analyst

    Job Description:

    With the support of the Payroll Assurance Coordinator you will drive the integration of the Payroll to end processes, the adherence to legislative and statutory requirements through analytical problem solving and structured controls. Driving continuous improvement and customer value add with problem solving initiatives informed by data analytics and efficient audit and compliance structures.

    Your key responsibilities will include:  

    • Coordinate and control of the accurate processing of all input documentation according to SLA measures within the available timeframe

    • Coordinate and control all the weekly and monthly checklists

    • Ensure the adherence to Process and Service Standards for the effective governance within area of responsibility

    • Interpret, communicate, coach & monitor relevant policies and procedures to staff.

    • Communicate the Service Delivery strategy and operating model to the team

    • Identify risks and implement actions to mitigate/eliminate all risks

    • Achieve an effective resolution and coordination of issues and incidents with actions plans and quality controls in place

    • People Interaction

    • Continuous improvement

    • Customer Relationship building

    This role is at a Band 7 level reporting to the Payroll Assurance Coordinator.

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications required:

    • Relevant Finance Degree (essential)

    • A relevant Payroll qualification (will be advantageous)  

    Experience:

    • 2-3 years payroll, statutory compliance experience

    • ERP payroll systems (essential)

    • SAP experience (will be advantageous)

    • Legislation pertaining to the payroll environment i.e. Employees Tax, POPI, BCEA, etc.

    • Reconciliation's experience
