    Personal Assistant

    Your purpose

    • You provide full administrative support to the Managing Director and Directors of Planning, Buying, Resource and Trend for Mr Price Apparel. This includes diary management, planning all work travel (including visas), arranging meetings, and sending out invites on their behalf.                                                                                          

    What you typically do day-to-day:

    • Running ad-hoc personal errands for the MD and Directors.
    • Completion and submission of credit card recons for MD and Directors.
    • Management of a General Assistant. Collaborate with the General Assistant to ensure the meal requirements for the MD and various Directors have lunches/ coffees are catered for.
    • Organize the annual supplier conference and strategy breakaways, which includes venue selection, travel arrangements, sourcing of guest speakers, invites and booking of diaries.
    • Adhoc. Project management examples include office revamps, relocations, etc. 
    • Collaborate with the other division PA’s in overseeing the running of the sample shop.  
    • Assist with planning for events such as Year End Function, Captivate, Kids Xmas party, Santa Shoe Box and monthly drinks etc.
    • Manage Showroom bookings for review, manage Red Tap Bar bookings and keep the bar stocked.
    • Attend to general queries from associates in the building and refer any issues to maintenance.
    • Annually organize the management dinner and appreciation lunch.
    • Maintain an up-to-date email list for Support Center.
    • Organize the Management Team’s birthdays by arranging a card & gift.
    • Ordering of stationery and office equipment/ supplies when required.
    • Maintain general office cleanliness.                 

    what are the requirements?

    • Grade12 with a relevant Degree / Diploma in Administration or similar
    • 5 years + experience as a Personal Assistant, supporting the Executive Management level 
    • Proficiency on Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Advanced proficiency on Excel).
