Positioned as a central support pillar for a private household / business owner in Paarl, this role is essential for synchronising the complex schedules of school-going children and overseeing some business owner administration for 2 to 3 hours per week. This position is designed for a proactive individual who excels at foresight—providing the reminders, planning for a business owner and logistical oversight necessary to ensure the family’s academic and leisure calendars run without friction.
Key Responsibilities
Calendar Management & Reminders: Serve as the "administrative engine" to ensure no commitment is overlooked.
School Group Liaison: Monitor and coordinate communications within various school groups and platforms.
Holiday & Trip Planning: Research, cost, and present comprehensive options for family holidays and school break activities, managing bookings and itinerary planning.
Ad-hoc Logistics: Provide occasional "overflow" transport support by collecting children from school or activities in the Paarl area when required.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or personal assistant role.
Logistics: Must possess a valid South African driver’s licence and a reliable, safe vehicle for occasional school collections.
Local: Based in or very near the Paarl South region.
Soft Skills: High levels of discretion, emotional intelligence, and a "forward-thinking" approach to task management.
