Pharmacist Assistant (COVID-19 Volunteer) at Western Cape Government

Role Summary:

The Western Cape Government Health is calling on Pharmacist Assistants residing in the province to volunteer and assist in the fight to stop the spread of COVID-19.

This COVID-19 pandemic along with the pre-existing burden of disease is placing our facilities under tremendous pressure. In line with the country-wide recruitment drive, we require all hands-on deck to ensure that there is enough capacity in the province to deal with the anticipated rise in the number of people testing positive for COVID-19.

Volunteer Pharmacist Assistants who are NOT employees of the Department can help mitigate the additional pressure COVID-19 is putting on our services.

We are looking to recruit in the following areas:

1. Cape Town Metropolitan
2. Cape Winelands
3. Boland Overberg
4. West Coast
5. Garden Route/Eden
6. Central Karoo
7. Overberg
