Grade 12 and BCS in Physiotherapy or appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Physiotherapy.
Grade 1: Requires No experience after registration with HPCSA.
Grade 2: Requires ten (10) years minimum experience with HPCSA in a relevant profession.
Grade 3: Requires twenty (20) years minimum experience after registration with the HPCSA in a relevant profession.
Knowledge and Skills:
Sound interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment. Ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal relation skills. Ability to work under pressure. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
Duties:
Assessment and treatment of in-patient and out-patient and external stakeholders in adherence to scope of practice.
Assist in the department administrative activities, quality assurance and evidence based programs.
Contribute positively towards the development and growth of the physiotherapy department.
Perform clinical supervision of physiotherapy students. Participate in professional departments programs.
The candidate should be willing to rotate and be involved in various area related to physiotherapy and perform overtime duties over the weekends.
