Physiotherapist Grade 1-3 at Free State Department of Health

Salary :

• Grade 1: R 413 121.00 - R 472 359.00;
• Grade 2: R 482 499.00 - R 550 389.00;
• Grade 3: R 564 822.00 - R 683 808.00 per annum

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and BCS in Physiotherapy or appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Physiotherapy.
• Grade 1: Requires No experience after registration with HPCSA.
• Grade 2: Requires ten (10) years minimum experience with HPCSA in a relevant profession.
• Grade 3: Requires twenty (20) years minimum experience after registration with the HPCSA in a relevant profession.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Sound interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment. Ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal relation skills. Ability to work under pressure. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

Duties:

• Assessment and treatment of in-patient and out-patient and external stakeholders in adherence to scope of practice.
• Assist in the department administrative activities, quality assurance and evidence based programs.
• Contribute positively towards the development and growth of the physiotherapy department.
• Perform clinical supervision of physiotherapy students. Participate in professional departments programs.
• The candidate should be willing to rotate and be involved in various area related to physiotherapy and perform overtime duties over the weekends.
