Picking / Packaging Supervisor at JD Group

Introduction.

• Perform a supervisory function to effectively manage the execution of the Picking / Packaging of goods in the Service Centre. To ensure daily targets are met. 

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and expediency of picking, packing and shipping of e-commerce sales orders to customers at the agreed service level agreement.

 Education and Experience 

• Grade 12 with 3+ years’ experience. Relevant Logistics qualification
• EWM System experience

• Supervises and coordinates the Picking / Packaging of goods
• Monitors picking / packaging operations and inspects the quality of goods

• Monitor binning and stacking practices
• Executes Service Centre stock control and safekeeping practices
• Ensure returns that are rejected are returned to the correct department
• Complete daily picking / packaging reports
• Comply with OHASA to ensure a safe working environment
• Deals with internal and external customers in a customer-centric manner
• Ability to work as part of a team & work well under pressure
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve Must have good communication skills 
• Effective self- management and team work
• Working knowledge of warehouse automation operations
