Planner at Core Group

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Planner. The Planner will be responsible for maximising the return on investment for Apple products by balancing inventory availability with investment in inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve unit sales targets by maximising inventory.
• Meet sales target by Line of Business (LOB) each quarter.

Investment in Inventory Management

• Review shipping schedule & SOH & plan stock accordingly to meet forecasted sales allowing for lead-times
• Ensure the CGA AAR have the right stock at the right time to minimise stock outs
• Plan accurately to ensure weeks of stock by LOB are kept within agreed parameters
• Take action on slow-moving SKUs and advise stakeholders on action to boost productivity
• Allocate stock to partners to best meet partner expectations and maximise sales

Adherence to Internal Processes

• iPhone/iPad/CPU/Watch SIF update flow, sell-through forecast, backorders and submission
• Weekly Namibia and Zambia stock and sales report to Apple
• Apple shipping report update
• Daily SOH / Back Order reports
• Twice weekly CGA Master sales report
• Weekly Stock and sales report update and review
• Achievement of Quarterly Strategic Objectives (20%)

Requirements:

• 5 Years Planning Experience or 0 to 3 Years (for Industrial Engineers)

Must Have:

• Excellent Excel Skills
• Basic Understanding of Statistical Concepts
• Planning Experience
• Excellent Numeracy

Desirable:

• Python Programming Capability
• SQL Programming Capability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering (desired)
