Core Description

To plan and engineer the Switching, Access, Transmission, Radio/ Microwave, Data, DC Power or Fibre network within a limited/ defined range to enable our customers to communicate.

Required Certification

• None

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (NQF level 4) & relevant modular training 

Experience

• 3 Years relevant experience.
• Ex-/ Current Telkom Full Time Bursars, learnerships and internships candidates will be exempted from the 3 years
• experience requirements but must have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience.

Special Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• 4x4 Driver training where applicable.
• Able to work at heights/ confined spaces.
• Able to work outside of normal working hours.
• Able to stay out overnight.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.
• Must not be colour blind.
