We are looking for a driven and technically skilled Planning / Process Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support Production by developing, implementing, and optimising manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to Production by developing and improving manufacturing processes.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Establish and optimise production processes, tooling, equipment, and layouts.
Investigate and resolve production and process-related issues affecting quality and output.
Manage engineering changes, process updates, and production readiness for new model introductions.
Conduct process, quality, and safety audits while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and performance tracking tools.
Lead problem-solving initiatives and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
Qualified Toolmaker.
3–5 years' technical/engineering experience within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production systems, tooling, manufacturing processes, and plant layouts.
Experience in a Tool Room, including tool design, heavy press tools, machining, works preparation, and try-out processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Computer literacy (MS Office); CAD/MicroStation experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, VDA, COP, OHSE) and automotive manufacturing processes is advantageous.
