Pool Plantroom Operator at uShaka Marine World

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric / Grade 12 
• First Aid Level 1 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

• 2 years’ working experience in a water treatment related field 
• Understanding of water chemistry principles, including PH levels, chlorine, and chemical balancing 
• Handling chemicals and emergency spills 
• Applicant must be physically fit and able to lift 30kg 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB 

• Ensure that the Water Treatment Plantroom and Water Recycling Plant is operational. 
• Perform housekeeping duties within the Water Treatment Plantroom and Water Recycling Plant 
• Responsible for the daily water treatment activities, pool top up, and chemical stock control. 
• The incumbent will be required to become familiar with all relevant SOPs (Standard 
• Operating Procedures) and EPs (Emergency Procedures).
