Power Platform Engineer at Belgotex Floors

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

• Solution Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain canvas and model-driven Power Apps that meet business requirements and usability standards. Build and manage Power Automate flows to automate business processes, integrations, and notifications. Implement Dataverse-based solutions with appropriate data models, relationships, and business rules.
• Data Integration and Management: Integrate Power Platform solutions with data sources such as SQL databases, SharePoint, APIs, and other Microsoft services. Ensure data consistency, reliability, and appropriate access controls across applications. Enable clean, well-structured data for reporting and analytics, particularly for Power BI consumption.
• Platform Governance and Best Practices: Apply Power Platform best practices related to security, performance, environment strategy, and solution lifecycle management. Participate in ALM processes including solution packaging, deployment, and version control. Ensure solutions comply with organisational standards, data governance, and security policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective Power Platform solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to users and junior developers when required. Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure alignment with broader system architecture and data strategies.
• Maintenance and Continuous Improvement: Monitor, support, and enhance existing Power Platform solutions to ensure reliability and performance. Troubleshoot issues across apps, flows, and integrations, resolving defects efficiently. Proactively identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF4 or equivalent. 
• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (advantageous)
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, or equivalent) advantageous.
• Knowledge in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Azure services, SQL, REST APIs, Power BI fundamentals, ALM concepts.
