PR / Brand Director - Cape Town at Publicis Groupe

The PR/ Brand Director will:

• Oversee and approve all press releases for distribution to press
• Maintain key press relationships and identify high-level opportunities
• Oversee the Agency’s awards programme, approve award submissions, review case study videos and attend shows when necessary
• Oversee, drive and approve all social media content for Machine social channels
• Oversee and approve all updates for website
• Oversee and approve branding requirements for the agency, as well as the annual client Christmas gift
• Compile presentations and/or speak at industry events
• Lead on new business pitches for the agency, and compile final presentations
• Drive the new business pipeline for Machine_
• Work with the operations team to assist in the overall look of the business, ensuring a consistent image of the business both internally and externally
• Assist in setting up new clients post pitch

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Advertising & Media
• 3-5 years experience in a similiar role 
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Producing / Project Management
• Broad understanding of the advertising environment across disciplines
• Great attention to detail and meticulous in executed work
• Ability to drive out agency cultural pillars and events
• Highly-effective multitasker
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva
