Practice Lead ERP - Johannesburg at South32

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

As the Practice Lead ERP, you will be responsible to lead processes, technology and the performance related to the global SAP ERP landscape at South32.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Support the Group Manager ERP by contributing to the formulation of the ERP vision, plan and strategy;
• Ensure the strategic decisions of ERP are in alignment with the Digital Technology and South32 Strategies;
• Contribute to the overall Digital Technology plan and support activities to enable the ERP Strategy vision across South32;
• Assist in defining and maintaining the ERP delivery model, in collaboration with Digital Technology sub-functions and the broader South32 stakeholders;
• Lead the development of the ERP Roadmap and ensure its integration with the overall Technology Strategy and Digital Technology Journey Map;
• Assist with reviewing and establishing an ERP sourcing model required to transition and optimise the South32 team and capabilities;
• Plan optimal delivery of new ERP functionality in collaboration with Digital Technology sub-functions and the broader South32 stakeholders;
• Ensure interactions for both producers of technology services and the consumers of technology are clearly articulated and shared across Technology and the broader South32 organisation;
• Ensure service level requirements of the ERP Team are clearly articulated, monitored and communicated;
• Ensure ongoing feedback loops with all relevant stakeholders and drive alignment regarding stakeholder requirements, expectations and satisfaction;
• Oversee the day-to-day interactions and be the point of escalation for the ERP vendors and contractors, with further escalation to Group Manager ERP as required.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 10+ years relevant experience;
• Demonstrable experience in leading processes and managing landscapes at a global scale;
• Experience of establishing and managing global vendor relationships;
• Demonstrable experience in forming and maintaining practices, framework and processes;
• Strong people influencing skills across cross functional teams;
• Experience of audit compliance and budget management.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology or related field preferred.
