    Pre-Sales and Implementation Consultant

    • We are seeking a dynamic Consultant to join our team. This unique role combines the excitement of pre-sales consulting with hands-on project delivery, ensuring seamless momentum from sale to implementation.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospects, demonstrating our products' value, and then taking ownership of delivering the project through to completion. This end-to-end approach ensures continuity, maintains client relationships, and drives successful outcomes.

    YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Pre-Sales Activities

    • Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and technical requirements
    • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients, including enterprise-level organizations
    • Build rapport with clients through professional relationship management, demonstrating industry knowledge and business acumen
    • Create and deliver proof-of-concept (PoC) and proof-of-value (PoV) demonstrations
    • Collaborate with the sales team to close deals and ensure smooth handoff to implementation

    Project Delivery & Implementation

    • Take full ownership of projects from sale through to completion
    • Self-manage deliverables, timelines, and client expectations without relying on external project managers
    • Implement our products directly, learning and mastering our tools to deliver solutions independently
    • Create comprehensive technical documentation for clients and internal use
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and unblock problems proactively

    Product Expertise & Development

    • Become an expert user of our tools and platforms
    • Provide feedback and advocate for product improvements based on client needs and implementation experience
    • Stay current with product updates and new features
    • Contribute to product knowledge base and best practices

    Client Relationship Management

    • Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership
    • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with deliverables
    • Act as a trusted advisor on both technical and business matters

    PROFECIENCY:
    Experience

    Essential:

    • 8+ years of experience as a Pre-sales / Solutions Engineer

    Technical Ability

    Essential:

    • Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries and analyse data
    • Proficiency in API testing and integration using tools like Postman
    • Experience navigating browser developer tools (Network tab, debugging)
    • Comfortable with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
    • Ability to quickly learn and master new software platforms and tools
    • Experience creating clear, comprehensive technical documentation

    Desirable:

    • Experience with financial services or investment management technology platforms
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
    • Understanding of data integration and ETL processes

    Industry Knowledge

    Essential:

    • Understanding of the financial services and investment management industry
    • Ability to engage in meaningful conversations with investment professionals
    • Capacity to ask intelligent questions and follow along in technical and business discussions

    Desirable:

    • Previous experience working with asset managers, investment firms, or financial technology companies
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience creating and maintaining project documentation
    • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
