Preventative Maintenance Inspector at Watershed Consulting

Overview: 

• To conduct Condition Based Management (CBM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Precision maintenance measurements on all critical equipment

Qualifications and experience:

• Trade Tested Millwright.
• 3-5 years’ Condition Monitoring experience
• Sound understanding of machinery
• Must be skilled in Conditions Based Monitoring Techniques and Route Cause Analysis skills
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literate and practical knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP).
• Good communication skills
• SA Citizens only with preference to female applicants

Duties:

• Independently conducting routine and ad hoc Condition Based Management, Predictive Maintenance and Precision maintenance measurements on all critical equipment.
• Analyse, diagnose and provide a prognosis on the conditions and failure mechanisms of business critical equipment.
• Participating in reliability improvement programs and Root Cause Failure Analysis processes of plant equipment as per requirements.
• Independently, carries out extensive analysis, diagnoses and provide a prognosis on the conditions and failure mechanisms affecting the cost and efficiency performance of the business critical equipment.
• Assists the Reliability Maintenance Team Leader in developing formal technical reports and updating the equipment repair / replacement strategy.
• Performs workshop & field precision maintenance tasks and measurements.
• Actively participates in Reliability improvement programs and Root Cause Failure Analysis process of business critical equipment.
• Maintaining databases in the PMMS, CMMS and various CBM, PdM and Precision Maintenance technique databases
• Ensuring that work execution is done in accordance with Company policies, procedures and work instructions
