Qualifications and experience required:

• National Diploma/B.Tech in Conservation Management/Natural Science.
• A valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy.
• Registration as Peace Officer/Environmental Management Inspectorate.
• Pest Control Certificate (an added advantage).
• Skipper Licence (SAMSA).
• Five years’ relevant work experience and three years at supervisory level.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Negotiation and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official local language (essential).
• Must be physically fit and able-bodied.
• Ability to plan, formulate and implement policies or programmes.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
