Key Performance Areas

• Manage and enforce Road Traffic, Public Passenger, Transport Legislation and other relevant legislations
• Manage joint law enforcement activities and projects (co-operative governance)
• Manage resources and provide leadership and direction to all subordinates
• Manage the performance of all administrative activities and related duties

Prerequisites

• A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent, Basic Traffic Diploma plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Traffic Management or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).
• 6 – 10 years working experience in Traffic Law Enforcement field.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• A minimum of 3 years as Senior Provincial Inspector.
• The applicants must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm as contemplated in the Firearm Control Act, 2000 (Act no 60 of 2000), or other relevant legislation.
• No Criminal record.
