Probationary Quality Assurance Officer at Refinitiv

Job Description
The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for critically evaluating profiles compiled by the Research team globally to ensure that it meets the established standards of quality including accuracy, reliability and usability

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews on an ongoing basis
• Ensure in-depth and up to date knowledge of data inclusion criteria and guidelines
• Ensure that all record information is accurate and adheres to data inclusion criteria before validation and publication
• Ensure that all record information is in the correct format as well as sub-structurally and grammatically correct
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure prioritization of records per QA team workflow is adhered to.

Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies

• Analytic approach to work and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate fluently in verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with data entry and Internet-based research.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Understanding of basic statistical analysis concepts.
• Ability to work in a team environment yet maintain professional integrity and composure while communicating difficult subjects.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance position will be advantageous.
• Highly organized.
• Customer-oriented.
• Uses initiative to solve problems.
