Process Controller I at PepsiCo

Overview

• Supervise/Operates a section of a process plant by monitoring and controlling gauges and instruments within prescribed limits. Maintains log sheets and observes and reports changes in utilities and raw materials. Does some problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee shift operations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production.
• Execute production plans and manage stock levels, ensuring optimal material usage and availability.
• Maintain food safety and product quality standards throughout the shift in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, promoting a safe and controlled working environment.
• Enforce adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe equipment handling and maintenance.
• Lead, coach, and support the team, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Create and process production orders on SAP, ensuring accurate system transactions.
• Generate and manage job creation on SAP to align with production requirements.
• Monitor, manage, and report on production waste, identifying opportunities for reduction and cost savings.
• Manage sanitation and cleaning on shift.  Writing shift reports and shift handover.

Qualifications

• Must have at least matric and minimal of 3 years in leadership role
