Process Manager: Infrastructure Asset – REF: JW388EX/2024 at Johannesburg Water

PURPOSE 

To ensure asset management processes across disciplines and departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Interpret and implement engineering project data and to align asset management processes, protocols and controls. Interpret project BoOs data, built drawings and unbundle completed projects. 
• Prepare asset verification plans. Supervise on-site asset inspections and verifications.
• Train asset technicians and analysts on data capture to update the AMIS. Check and research prevailing CPIX rates to apply on the asset register rate annually. Prepare and coordinate annual AM plans in consultation with other Directorates and relevant CoJ Departments. Coordinate with IT staff to ensure that systems functionality meets.
• Lead, compile and check internal and external audits. Respond to audit queries and retrieve files during annual ad-hoc audits.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Essential qualifications and experience:

• BSc. / B-Tech Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in Engineering Asset Management
• Experience in collection and interpretation of Engineering processes
• Experience in development of Asset Management Plans essential
• Valid Driver’s License
