    Procurement Coordinator (Grade 7) , Finance Division

    Skills and Experience

    We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking and committed individual who meets the following requirements:

    • A completed NQF-Level 7 qualification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or a completed CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply minimum.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management in Public Entity/ies
    • Experienced in the application of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) in a scheduled 3A public institution
    • Experienced in the application of National Treasury’s supply chain management guidelines, Treasury Regulations, Instruction Notes and Supply Chain Management Instruction Notes, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Act and the Code of Good Practices.
    • Understanding and knowledge of the Supply Chain Management cycle which includes demand, acquisition, logistics, disposal, and supplier performance management.
    • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision and be a team player
    • Understands the mandated and operations of the Competition Commission
    • Good verbal, written, presentation and communication skills

    Other considerations:

    • Registration/Membership with CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) will be an added advantage
    • Computer Literacy: MS Office, Outlook, ERP (SAGE)
    • Flexibility to work overtime and/or irregular hours
    • Code 8 Drivers license
    • Change management skills
    • Have transformational leadership skills

    Key Accountabilities

    The main responsibilities of the incumbent will, inter alia, include:

    • Monitor Compliance with Supply Chain Management
    • Maintain the Supplier details, B-BBEE Spend Analysis and Tax Compliance
    • Submit SCM reports to internal and external stakeholders as per stated deadlines.
    • Maintain all departmental Registered and keep them up to date.
    • Maintain effective records management
    • Assist with organising Bid Committee meetings as and when necessary

    Over and above well-developed technical skills in your specialisation areas, the incumbent must demonstrate, inter alia:
