    Procurement Manager

    About the role

    • The Procurement Manager role strengthens the organization's procurement capability by leading sourcing initiatives, supporting category strategies, improving supplier performance, and enhancing governance across spend tiers. Operating across 16 international offices and managing a broad portfolio of categories, including short‑tail and mid‑value spend, the Procurement Manager delivers measurable commercial value, ensures strong governance, and partners closely with business stakeholders and Legal. 
    • Reporting into the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Manager leads low‑ to mid‑complexity sourcing events, manages supplier performance, and supports data, reporting, and continuous improvement activities. In addition, the role provides structure and oversight to high‑volume short‑tail procurement to ensure efficient and compliant delivery. 

    What you'll do

    Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership 

    • Lead end‑to‑end RFx processes for low‑ and mid‑complexity spend, including RFx design, supplier evaluation, and negotiation
    • Support development of category and mini‑category strategies, including consolidation, supplier rationalization, and cost‑efficiency opportunities
    • Run intake and renewals pipeline, ensuring 90/60/30‑day visibility and timely actions
    • Drive competitive tension across relevant categories and support supplier reviews

    Supplier Relationship & Performance Management 

    • Own day‑to‑day supplier relationships across short‑tail and mid‑value spend
    • Track SLAs, KPIs, and service performance; drive corrective actions and improvements
    • Monitor supply market trends and feed insights into category strategies
    • Lead renewal negotiations and restructure contracts to enhance value and reduce risk

    Contract Lifecycle & Governance 

    • Review standard contract terms and coordinate with Legal on higher‑risk agreements. 
    • Ensure full adherence to procurement governance, thresholds, and due‑diligence
    • Maintain accurate supplier and contract metadata across systems
    • Ensure obligations, renewals, and contract changes are recorded and actioned

    Commercials, Financials & Value Delivery 

    • Build comparison models and support savings, cost‑avoidance, and value reporting
    • Track budgets, forecast impacts, and ensure commercial recommendations are data‑driven
    • Strengthen negotiation planning and lead routine negotiation cycles

    Data, Insights & Reporting 

    • Build and maintain dashboards tracking cycle times, renewals, spend, savings, and compliance
    • Leverage insights to influence stakeholder decisions and prioritize procurement workload
    • Maintain supplier and contract data with high accuracy

    Process, Tools & Continuous Improvement 

    • Improve sourcing templates, evaluation frameworks, checklists, and intake processes
    • Document workflows and champion best‑practice procurement

    Requirements
    What you'll bring

    • Proven experience managing end‑to‑end procurement processes, with strong commercial judgement and a clear risk and compliance mindset
    • 3+ years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, category management or contract administration, ideally in a global or multi‑office environment
    • Strong experience running RFQ and RFP processes, managing renewals and negotiating commercial contracts
    • Strategic thinking and category awareness, supported by solid financial acumen and a results‑focused approach
    • Good understanding of contract terms, including renewal mechanisms, liability, data protection, termination and exclusivity
    • Strong analytical and data skills, with experience using Excel or Sheets, Power BI or similar BI tools to build insights, reporting and commercial models
    • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders and suppliers
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high‑volume environment, working with minimal supervision
    • Leadership, ownership and accountability, with a consistent focus on delivering measurable outcomes
    • CIPS Level 4 Diploma would be beneficial but not a must-have
