    Procurement - Motor Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM)

    Purpose:

    The team at OUTsurance requires a Motor Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) to assume operational responsibility for contract performance management. Responsibility is focused on all motor claims related service providers. The role requires a strong negotiator who will be able to contribute to meeting demand of motor claims related services with supply through analysing the economic environment and claims related data. A successful SRM is able to influence the market to adapt to frequent innovations that improve customer outcomes. Furthermore, this role requires the execution of processes related to the appointment of service providers to the panel and the administration of service level agreements. The position is based in Gauteng and the incumbent must be willing to travel frequently to various destinations throughout South Africa.

    Qualifications:

    ·       Relevant Qualification in Supply Chain / Procurement / Business Administration / Commerce essential

    Experience:

    • Minimum 1-3 years technical experience, AND
    • Minimum 1-3 years management experience
    • Procurement / Supply Chain experience in motor industry advantageous

    Duties:

    • Accurate and timeous reporting of relevant management information to Procurement General Manager
    • Assist the Procurement General Manager in developing of procurement policies, procedures, processes
    • Build strategic, professional and ethical relationships with internal clients and service providers
    • Ensure all business systems are updated with the relevant contract information and documentation
    • Manage the performance of service providers in line with the SLA (Service, Transformation and Cost)

    Responsibilities:        

    • Manage a panel of service providers to ensure that the following deliverables are met at operations committee (OPSCO) level:
    • Customer Service
    • Transformation / B-BBEE
    • Cost management
    • Contract administration
    • Root-cause analysis and corrective action on service failures
    • Performance management and contract termination
    • Supply and demand balancing across South Africa
    • Fair and transparent application & appointment process
    • Manage relationships with stakeholders
    • Service Providers
    • General enquiries/complaints resolution
    • Market research and pricing data
    • Discussions, negotiations and communication around rates, fees and discounts
    • Meeting facilitation
    • Assessing, Claims and Customer Liaison Team (CLT) functions
    • Procurement function
    • Non-motor commercial team
    • Administrators
    • Voluntary and Regulatory bodies in the industry
