WhereIsMyTransport is a globally distributed scale-up revolutionising the way public transport information from emerging-market megacities can be accessed and understood. Using geospatial data collection, we untangle the mysteries of dynamic public transport networks - knowledge which, when shared, improves understanding and creates a more equitable society. We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Office Manager to enable our IT team to provide effective and efficient service delivery to our remote-first, global business.
This position owns the management of our globally distributed assets, which include IT equipment and fixed assets (provisioning, return & storage) and work directly with team members across the business as well as external service providers.
Please note this role is a six month fixed term contract.
Requirements
The main focus of the Procurement Officer will be to meet the internal equipment needs of our global team.
You will:
Partner with our IT and People Operations Team’s to facilitate equipment procurement, redistribution and storage for WhereIsMyTransport staff globally.
Partner with HR to update and maintain remote office policies as necessary as well as sourcing co-working spaces
Partner with the Talent team to stay up to date on our hiring roadmap and ensure that we have suppliers in place in new locations ahead of time
Maintain supplier relationships with existing suppliers
Formulating and updating all SLA’s with suppliers
Coordinate with IT department for equipment delivery, collection set-up and storage
Continually evaluate and develop new solutions and recommendations regarding the lease of or return of equipment.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including organising new starter packs
Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements, including visa applications)
Plan activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
